Freight-Intensive Truck Network

This dataset documents DVRPC’s analysis of freight truck movements and major freight centers to define a hierarchy of roads that make up the region’s freight-intensive truck network. The identified network highlights key roadways (Limited Access, Intermodal Connectors, and Primary Routes) that are regularly used for goods movement and serves as a planning tool to guide outreach, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making related to freight mo bility, regional collaboration, and freight education. The network was finalized in 2025 and covers the entire 9-County DVRPC region. Methodology:  https://www.dvrpc.org/products/25152
