Data pertaining to business parks were obtained from counties in the DVRPC region (if available). These datasets were used in conjunction with DVRPC's latest land use layer and web searches to compile a list of locations with street addresses. For the purposes of this data gathering exercise, the following assumptions were made to help determine if a location was a business park: - Location is in an area classified as commercial in DVRPC’s land use layer - Location often has a single landlord listed - Office parks are considered business parks - Medical offices, in certain areas, may qualify as a business park - Businesses adjacent or in close proximity to a business park are not always part of that business park - A single building containing multiple businesses can qualify as a business park Please note, although efforts were made to ensure its completeness and accuracy, this layer is not a definitive inventory of the region's business parks and should not be considered as such.
